I was pulling Vines out of the neighbors outside AC unit and one of the vines had wrapped around a wire that wire got nicked and the AC quit working. I wasn't about to let my neighbor go without AC overnight and CVJ showed up within 10 minutes of my call. They fixed the problem for a reasonable price. I diagnosed and repaired a faulty Copeland scroll compressor in a Carrier 24ABC6 central air conditioner. After testing the capacitor and contactor, I found a refrigerant leak in the evaporator coil. I sealed the leak using Rectorseal AC Leak Freeze, recharged the system with R-410A refrigerant, and replaced the filter drier. The unit now operates at peak efficiency.
I repaired a Trane XR17 heat pump that wasn't cooling properly. After diagnosing the issue, I found a faulty reversing valve.
